OPEN ENROLLMENT:
New students may register on Wednesday, July 31st and Thursday, August 1st from 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00. Students must have their immunization records, birth certificate, and social security card with them. We must also must have proof of residency such as electric bill, rent receipt or parent/guardian driver's license in order to enroll the student. Contact information from previous school is helpful, as well as, any legal paperwork such as custody papers. Students who attended the Doniphan Middle School or Lone Star R-IV or Gatewood R-III at the end of last year's school year are not required to come to the New Student Registration. They will be required to attend the Freshmen Orientation on Monday, August 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the high school gym with their parents/guardians.
SENIORS:
Seniors may pick up schedules on Tuesday, August 6th at DHS 9-11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. Schedule changes will also be made at this time.
JUNIORS:
Juniors may pick up schedules on Wednesday, August 7th at DHS 9-11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. Schedule changes will also be made at this time. SOPHOMORES: Sophomores may pick up schedules on Thursday, August 8th at DHS from 9-11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. Schedule changes will also be made at this time.
FRESHMEN:
Monday, August 12th, beginning at 6:00 PM in the DHS gym, Freshmen Orientation will begin. All Freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Students will be given their schedule, given an opportunity to tour the campus, and make schedule changes if necessary.
Students may only sign up for a schedule change before school starts or during the first week of school. Students may sign-up in the counseling office for a schedule change. Changes will not be made for teacher preference, lunch hours, or to be with friends.
